Whether it’s obedience training you’re after, solving behaviour problems, socialising your pet or wanting to teach some really cool tricks… our trainers are committed to getting your pet to fit in with your lifestyle. 

We conduct private lessons in the comfort of your own home. Appointments can be organised for a time that suits both you and the trainer, including weekends and evenings, but also during the week. Call or email us to book your lesson, or simply to ask a question.

Private Lessons are generally for an hour, where the trainer comes to your house or a pre-determined location.  During the lesson you receive one-on-one training tailored to your training concerns or solving particular problems.  An initial assessment will be conducted to find out all about your pet and its current situation.  This information is kept strictly confidential.  The trainer will then use this information, together with observation of your pet, to provide advice and tips on how to improve the training or reduce/solve the behaviour problem.

After the completion of the lesson, the trainer will write up a lesson report for you so that you can remember what was covered and follow the points to lead you to success with your pet.

Depending on the amount of training you (or your pet) needs, or the extent of your pet’s behaviour problem, you may require more than one lesson.  Southern Cross Animal Stars offers training packages for two or more lessons.  Contact us for further information.

Also, if you want to share a lesson with a friend and their pet, we don't charge any extra if there is more than one animal involved in the lesson.
